Are cameras or video cameras allowed?
Photography of the exhibits is permitted (and encouraged) unless it is specifically stated within an exhibit for personal use. Videography of exhibits is prohibited without express, prior permission. If you have any questions or have a specific photography or videography request, please contact us.
Are pets or service animals allowed?
Leashed pets are allowed if they are well behaved and not disruptive. We reserve the right to decide what is allowed for the safety of our collection. Licensed service dogs are always welcome.
The ADA defines a “service animal” as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. If they meet this definition, dogs are considered service animals under the ADA regardless of whether they have been licensed or certified by a state or local government. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, therapy dogs or dogs that provide a service to others not present (dogs in training) do not qualify as “service animals” under ADA.
For more information on the ADA, visit www.ada.gov.
Please do not leave children unattended in the Museum.
Please do not lift children over or place them on top of any barrier.
Please do not throw objects into the exhibits.
For the health and safety of our guests, as well as the preservation of our historic collections, the National Pearl Button Museum is smoke, vapor and tobacco free.
